Growing olive trees and producing olive oil is a commitment that consumes time, the personal energy of a team of people, and capital.
Not a week goes by on Woodlands without confronting challenges that bear on the survival of trees, their health and that of our land, and the ultimate quality of our oil. Nomatter what solutions we come up with, not a week goes by that we aren’t surprised by the new things we’ve learnt.
We’re open to learning and to working collectively with our fellow olive community for the betterment of Australian and Hunter Valley olive oil.
So we want to share some of our experiences here. At worse it may be good therapy for those of us in the Woodlands team contributing here, and at best you may get a true understanding of the care and effort going in to our product. You’ll most definitely learn just a little bit more about virgin olive oil production!
